My inspiration.
“It all started the first time I sank my feet into the pristine golden sands of Oistins, Barbados. I had never seen a body of water so clear, so clean, so blue. I was an inner city high school student enrolled in my school’s Travel and Tourism Magnet program. It marked the first of many trips I would take through the program, and it would be my first experience traveling outside of the country, seeing the world from a much different and more diverse lens. It changed my life and ultimately my way of living it! Now it’s my time to plant that seed and PAY IT FORWARD!”

Our vision.
To be a proficiently performing academic organization, with a nationally and internationally recognized program noted for showcasing the potential of our inner-city youth. To promote values, integrity, and respect for others and their community while broadening individual scholastic achievement.
The seed idea.
Through S.O.A.R., my desire is that our youth will have the same opportunities granted to them that I was afforded, to travel abroad, build a better future, and see that the sky isn’t really the limit, but merely the view.
