On October 22, 2022, S.O.A.R.'s founder and CEO Rosie McCamery, accompanied by S.O.A.R. HR Director, Tiana Garner and Curriculum & Instructional Design Director, LaToya Dawkins attended their first ever Sistahs in Business Expo on behalf of S.O.A.R.! The goal was to gain and expand a network of business professionals, building lasting connections and ongoing relationships.
The Sistahs in Business Expo is the country's only multi-city small business expo and community created to celebrate and educate entrepreneurial women of color. In addition to promoting its mission, S.O.A.R. set up a booth offering promotional materials about the organization and the work & programs that have been provided to the youth and community of Roselle, NJ and beyond!
The event was amazing and included attendees from all over the tristate area! From the phenomenal speakers, to the live music, food, workshops and panel discussions - the goal of helping women entrepreneurs succeed was certainly met!
